My only qualms with this are that the economics of shipping heavy goods like olive oil and wine overland are pretty cost prohibitive, especially without any extensive road network. Is there river shipping down to Karse? I have a book called Engineering in the Ancient World that gives an upper limit to the distance goods that need wagons to ship can be done so at a reasonable cost and it's not very far at all. I can't remember the exact distance but I can check tonight if people are interested.

Presumably one export from Peloria would be olive oil or flax oil shipped in amphora's used both for cooking and ritual (this was a common trade commodity in our dark ages/ancient world).

You might also want to check out Gerald Bosh's article at http://ioxy.com/fabworlds/Glorantha/gltrade.html for ideas.

Thorarin slew a house-carle of Thorbiorn's, and Alfgeir another, and there fell also a housecarle of Thorarin's; but no weapons would bite on Odd Katlason. Now the goodwife Aud calls out on her women to part them, and they cast clothes over the weapons." The Story Of The Ere-Dwellers Chapter 18
