I am in agreement with Peter here. The Thed/Rape and Headhunting/Than equivalent is valid (IMO). The argument about sex and rape is on the same level as headhunting and haircutting. Haircutting does not worship Than at all, neither does sex worship Thed.

I would see Than corrupting the Traditional Orlanthi practice in the same way those damn solars corrupted Elmal worship, but slightly more gruesome.
