Welcome to the tribe. You will doubtlessly recieve a lot of useful advice and I think much of it will boil down to two or three points.
1, Get Barbarian Adventures, the first part of the Sartar Rising series of adventure books detailing the rebellion against the lunars. This is geared towards new players and Narrators.
2, If you want a quick start go to www.glorantha.com and look at the adventures there http://www.glorantha.com/hw/fan_list.html
3, Keep asking here or over at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hw-rules/ for rules specific questions. Both groups also have some material in the files sections that should be useful.

One thing could be to give them pre-generated characters to play for a session or two as you try out the system and then feed them info about how to behave and so on by having them follow a leader-type NPC around, unless you have a player who can fill that role.
