Another interesting fact about Toronto is that it is the number three city in North America for large conventions, after Orlando and Las Vegas according to CEIR ( Center for Exhibition Industry Research) http://www.ceir.org and ahead of places like New Orleans, Los Angeles and San Francisco so you know it's got to have something going for it (besides the favourable exchange rate). They have an excellent zoo (I hear) and the Royal Ontario Museum is definitely worth a visit.
