Yes, but I was responding to your statement that Elmal has more fire power than Yelmalio, which is likewise (as Nick said) so broad as to be meaningless. Elmal has more fire than Yelmalio, but so does Etyries...

I had forgotten Elmal's specific fire-related feats (the spear), but still, it doesn't seem like he's widely regarded as a fire god. Of course, the rise of Yelmalio could push Elmali in two different directions--some might conflate the two, and thus tend to ignore what fire Elmal has; and others might eagerly seize on fire as "the thing Elmal has that Yelmalio doesn't", proof of their distinctness, and thus make more of the fire then they had before.
