Yes, this is what the passage in Glorantha:intro means as far as I understand, and all it means. It can give you a greater acceptance and understanding of that which is foreign and perhaps morally wrong to your native culture, but it does not make you worship Lunar deities by itself (it may give you a slight push in the right direction, though).

But if I understand Greg's post, there is *no* connection between NP and Illumination. So, the study of the language would not bring about it. I can certainly see a case for NP being used in techniques of Illumination though, but that doesn't mean it causes Illumination.

I know I say essentially the same things in my posts, I may be a bit slow and miss something fundamental here, but to summarise: NP has nothing to do with Illumination.
