But from a Heortling perspective, scarred by the Dragonkill
experience, learning Draconic and becoming draconic were simultaneous.
Learning New Pelorian and the dangers of exposure to such new thinking
is probably viewed in the same light. I suspect that New Pelorian
might equip one somewhat better to _handle_ illumination - if nothing
else, you'd have the right lexicon to try to assimilate it (or is it
the other way around?).
