Elmal does not have any fire powers and is more important for shining light, not fire. The Orlanthi turn to Mahome, if they want to keep warm in the winter.

No, it's not. Vanyoramet and Antirius were also at the Hill of Gold and got wasted. Hence it's not unique to Yemalio.

The Hill of Gold makes a couple of appearances in the Glorious ReAscent, but Elmalus only makes one appearance (as King of the Vingkotlings whose raids are halted by Shargash) and Yelmalio not at all.
