Kolat is a part of the Storm Tribe from the very start of it. He's Orlanth's older bro, afterall. Asrelia is not exactly commonly worshipped among the Orlanthi, as I recall. Not common at all in Sartar, certainly.

I would think that that's a connection there.

Down in Esrolia way, I think that things might be different. But remember, things are not fair all the time. Mislead? I think that's putting to fine a point on it. Also, remember, Kolat IS a spirit to START with. Asrelia is not a spirit. She' be happier to see you worship her as a deity, yes?

To put a backspin on yoru comment -- why are you worshipping Arelia in such an incorrect fashion? I'm surprised she hasn't gotten annoyed and taken all your wealth.

If you tried to worship Kolat theistically as Wind King, I'm sure that it would be missapplied worship too. But among the Heortlings, you can just worship Orlanth T or the like instead.

You must remember that that in the Heortling culture, theism is the norm. NOT animism.
