A couple of questions from the Glorantha_VF ML...

In the wyter FAQ, Greg said:
<< if the clan is destroyed but the tula remains unclaimed or the sacred object exists, it might be possible for survivors (or relatives) to come and do the proper rituals, reforming the clan with the same wyter. Consider the example of the Karandoli Clan of the Colymar Tribe (see King of Sartar, pp. 213-217), which one of the Argraths will bring back into existence during the Hero Wars. >>

The story of Argrath and the Colymar and the Karandoli clan is retold in King of Sartar. I transmit the questions raised by Vingo on the aforementioned list:

In the Karandoli tula, the only things that don't move away are the stones.

There's a Blue Wolf too which haunted Ortossi's dreams and sprang out of a hillside during a hunt. Is it possible that the Blue Wolf be related to the wyter?

Blue Wolf's a wolf and Sartar (who was there during the hunt) was a Telmori friend. Could it be a Telmori spirit? Could Sartar have a part in this and if so, what's his motive?

Or (because of its colour) a Blue Moon thing (mysterious disappearances involved here, not only King Ortossi and his clan but also the bothersome Jenstali foes, after they occupied the empty tula...)

What does 'Argrath' do? Bring back a wyter and convince it to return all the stuff in return for a cult?

(And What did really happen to the Karandoli? Was their disappearance salvation or just mere destruction at the hands of Jenstali magic, as suggested in the Colymar clans' list?)

Blue Wolf apparently reeks of wyterness. http://www.glorantha.com/hw/guardian_beings.html It might be a manifestation.

Any thoughts?

What could the membership requirements be? What about the wyter's functions (Awareness, Defence & Blessing)?

Jerome
