I think the main problem is that we don't know how the aldryami transmit their culture to the younger generations. So, we don't have any proper "What The Swamp Thing Told Me" &c for the aldryami, which makes it *that* much harder for players and GMs to relate to them. Just as importantly, we don't know what the aldryami _think_ , an obvious handicap as compared to our knowledge of Uz and Mostali thought structures and content.

At least with HW/HQ there's no real problem simulating ;-) forest defense systems and other elvish goodness ...
