A myth to explain what? To Gloranthans it is just so. Why do they need a myth to explain a fact that is obvious?
Ernalda was the wife of Orlanth.
She conceded herself just one day every 22 because she wanted so. Orlanth didn't bother to ask why, sighed and bowed to her.
