My pet cat is extremely shy and retiring. He has only sat in the laps of 3 people that I know of. But once he actually trusts someone, it's knead and purr away, then stretch out in the warmth and go to sleep with a big kitty grin.

So shy and retiring are fine. If you are social and friendly, you are a DOG, not a cat. (arguably). Bryan is right, there should be lots of ways to role-play them "correctly".

I agree that celibate ain't right, but, in some cases, a monagamous Yinkini could fit the bill fine. "Loyal" is a cult virtue.
