Agreed...but from what I've read and heard of the lynx they are usually pretty low key. Probably something about sharing the landscape with wolves (who are at least as big if not bigger and travel in packs) and bears (who aren't a problem unless you annoy them or look like an easy lunch). They certainly don't seem to have the more or less fearless, king of their domain, attitude of lions or tigers.

But I'm not an expert on this. If anyone is I'd be glad for more info.
