Is this the party line? Given the close association between the Goddesses of Rape and Disease, I'd think VD would be a natural idea for them. (And arguably getting pregnant with a Broo is a nasty kind of VD...)
Of course, VD spirits would be opposed, not just by the usual healing gods/spirits/etc., but also by gods of marriage, love, and fertility. (OTOH, a god of marriage might be perfectly happy to see adulterers/fornicators get VD--in fact, it would seem like a natural form of divine retribution.)
Did Greg really say that there is no VD, or just that VD isn't really a problem? Since all diseases can be treated pretty much the same way (spirits of healing, Chalana Arroy magic), VD might be fairly easy to stomp out.
