I tried to point that even Combat Monsters meet their best match (in narrative and in RPG) not when confronted wargamistically CC vs CC (or CC vs Magic a la Conan or CC vs Witty Departure a la OW), but when they are challenged by their personal affects (a la Morte Darthur or Star Wars) or when their personal affects get through in the contest.
