I recall that David Dunham once mentioned that it was easy to convert characters from the Iliad into Hero Wars stats, IIRC; and I think he's right (I've read a lot of Greek mythology myself, only not too much recently). I'd imagine Beowulf and the Bhagavad Gita, among others, would also be ripe for the plucking.
