You mean, last week's and this week's, right? :-)

Gamma World D20 was one of the two leaders in last week's poll, so it stands to reason that it'd pull ahead from time to time in this week's. However, if there are cheaters voting more than once, by erasing their cookies or something, there's not much we can do.

Sure. The minor variation is an extremely rare thing, though Sandy set the precedent for it a while back when he pitted various game systems against each other week after week for a month or so. Nearly every week, the poll is entirely different than the weeks before. Two factors led to the "Redux" poll: 1) It was requested, by multiple RPGnet members, and 2) I had a death in my family that took up most of my time last week, placing me way behind on work, and a Redux poll saves me time. I'm the only one coming up with the polls around here, 'cuz no one else wanted the task.

All that being said, I agree that only having minor variation from week to week would make the survey rather pointless. If you have suggestions for future polls, I'd be happy to hear them.

Thanks,
