Well, I think Steve Long may be combatting your comment with respect to Hero Games. I've heard his new line of Hero5 material is doing quite well; he's certainly putting the stuff on the market at a terrific pace... but point well taken.

It's amazing how even just a little foot hold can make the background stuff much easier to deal with. After Gloranthacon VIII, I picked up Thunder Rebels once again, and this time it's a much easier read for me.

However, not everyone can be lucky enough to be introduced to the world as a player in a game run by Greg (even it was only four hours, it was still an excellent introduction to the world).
