Yes, that's an ordinary bat on the cover of "Moon Rites".
It's *obviously* not the Crimson Bat, but it's still good Lunar iconography,
and a damn fine cover illustration.

Maybe its very Lunar, but i want to point out that its Cover as Example IMO
is not good enough to attract Newbies. In the last Discussions were opinions
about Layout, contents of Future Publications and so on. For a Fun-Raiser
its O.K. but its look ordinary in my Eyes (excuse me, I forgot to mention i
cannot good painting and couldnt do it better). I think in our
"Multi-Media-Era" you need better Covers. Still in Tales-Days there was much
moarning about AH-Pictures.
Im not lucky with the Cover of "OiD".
In Germany is the RPG-Market small, and the Newbies & Consumer judge much
with what meets the Eye.
There werent many Covers in the Past i liked.
My personal Favorites are: Dorastor, Lords of Terror, Shadows on the
Borderland, Tales #20. They looked interesting (maybe a little little bit)
like a Scene of a Movie and Months/Years later I spot the Golrantha-Details
of them.
