That might be somewhat counterproductive to put that on each and every one of the thousand or so locations. I belive tha, however, that the vast majority of the locations in the gazeteer are terrain features (rivers, lakes, hills, mountains, EWF ruins) and settlements. With the exception of a very few settlements, everything has been there for a while. For the terrain features, the myth involved with them is much more important. For the settlements most seem to have a 'before occupation' and a 'life sucks now' section to them.
Most of the settlements recently ruined (Quackford and Dundalostead) mention a timeframe and the newer ones (such as the lunar founded settlements) are post-Boldhome.
But this is all speculation on something not even in a final layout so...
