Not completly true... While I think everyone would prefer that the dual stat books were solely for their favourite system most people on the L5R list seem to accept the dual stat books - the majority of the dismay, at least from the L5R RPG players was caused by the 6-8 month gap with no product at all while AEG decided to produce 3 d20 only books, and the 30 (game) year gap inbetween the last L5R RPG book and the first dual stat books which wasn't explained (or even mentioned) anywhere, it was just obvious from all the text that the new book was not set in the same Rokugan as previous books.

So what should Issaries learn from this? 1) If an alternative system for Glorantha were to be produced (be it d20, GURPS Glorantha, Fudge, Tri-Stat, a new RQ or anything else) it should not be allowed to dominate the production schedules at the expense of HQ. (Obviously it will have some impact - especially if it were entirely "In House" as opposed to a licensing deal)

2) - Which might tie back to the "dissapointment" thread - When the Lunar adventures come out, it should be obvious to the purchaser that it is not a "follow on" to the Sartar Rising Adventures, to prevent the cries of protest of "How does my Sartarite Rebel Leader fit into these adventures"
