Well, my Friday group had their first real game session last Friday, and it went pretty well I think. Everyone seemed to have fun, and the pace went pretty well.
I even managed to sneak in a couple "history lessons" in the session without it becoming too tedious.
I introduced the rules to the players, and they seemed to catch on pretty quickly -- since one of the players was completely new to roleplaying, the concept of "dice" had to be a bit carefully explained 8).

Nothing terribly exciting has happened so far, but various bits and pieces are being softly put in place for long and short term effect.
We're playing on a bi-weekly schedule, so journal updates will likely be similarly far apart, if you have any interest in following along.
