I believe that the various levels of the Invisible Measure are not connected to specific ages of the Hero Plane. Just like the Gods World, each node, whether it be on the spell, adept and/or saints levels has its specific connections to the Hero Plane due to the mythology associated with the node.

What is different is that the nodes have connections between them and sorcerers (in particular) and the more adventurous wizards research these connections so that they can find routes into various areas and times of the Hero Plane. These connections between the nodes are much easier to travel (i.e. only a tiny chance of an encounter, never mind a surprise encounter) than equivalent travel between locations in the Gods World.

Charles
