Just a short response, trying to avoid a long discussion about the topic of the discussion ;-))

Hum... I don't agree at all. Someone (a newbie, for example) could read G:IttHW and then, could run a serie in Pamaltela. I suspect most people don't play in Pamaltela but questions and discussion about 'playable' things in Pamaltela is perfectly OK. If not, the list is strangely limited with the perceptions of supossed 'MOST people'... (that would be a non-intended limit for gamer's imagination in some sense). I think it's better to open the list for other playable questions. Not just 'standart' campaign, if that thing exist in fantasy.

Or someone could play in Kralorela, so, he/she has to do something (playable, not just philosophy) with mysticism, IMO.

I think this is not the problem. I wrote my message because I thought the problem was talking about 'old' HW. If this list wants to be newbie-friendly, it's bad to reject discussion about published material because some ideas (not published) are incompatible with it. The 'newbie' has read HW, and he know things about mysticism, Taraltara, etc. If there's a problem in his serie about these things, he probably need a response better than 'wait for the next Kralorela supplement'.

BUT, I finally realised that the real problem is that mysticism is a bit dangerous, because it could provoke too-philosophical interventions. That is another question.

And the Digest is also good for non-oddities, but for game questions. So, if the topic is dangerous, probably it's better to discuss about it in the Digest.

But not because it's old HW. Old HW is our current game. And not because most people doesn't run mystics. Most people doesn't run Merfolk and IMO it's OK to discuss playable topics about Merfolk in that list.

Well, too much discussion about discussion. Sorry for that.

Antonio
