Why would Arkat bother dismembering Gbaji when he could have simply ate him? Dismembering to destroy is a Glorantha motif. It seems that some powerful beings (gods?) can not be simply killed or destroyed. The implication is that, if the parts were reassembled, Gbaji would rise again... (brah ha HAH HAH HAR)
