Bah. That's Lunar propaganda art. A proper woman should have a full head of hair, and a proper man should be in a kilt.

I think a proper, traditional Orlanthi art director would have made things look quite different, but I dubt Greg would have allowed the Shepelkirt to appear on the cover with a boot to her throat! :)

At least Shepelkirt here actually faces Orlanth. Yelm is too cowardly to even show up! :)

BTW, for years, before learning that she was usually depicted bald, I depicted the Red Goddess in my old RQ games as having red skin and waist length silver hair. Totally non-canon, but she's the Red *Goddess*, and I presume she can appear coiffed or bald as she pleases.
