He's a great character, I would think he is nominally initiated into Seven Mothers but doesn't do much about it. People don't worry because he's a young feckless noble and turning up late with a hangover is merely frowned upon. I'd probably treat that lack of commitment as a flaw and penalise his abilities in using the magic. The other thing which appears missing is some fancy items from his lunar background - stuff never seen in Sartar before.
