Some of it partly Roger's style of narration, tends to be quite improvisational (hope he would not disagree), which means we spend a lot of time talking to people, figuring out what is happening etc, just role-palying, rather than a classic prepared narrative with a series of set scenes. More theatre than cinema in style. We could probably draw a line under some distinct 'episodes' within the plot, but probably only in retrospect. This means it can be a little less clear when a Hero Point award is due (well a little less clear when to ask), though we have been handing out one HP at the beginning of a night's play.

There is a plan to alternate who narrates so it will be interesting to observe the effects of different styles on the pace of character development. I suspect more classicly epsiodic play would have a faster rate of progression.

Mind you playing in a room over a pub might make us unproductive :-)

Which I guess we'll have to fit in with each persons' narration style - though sometimes I think we just plain forget.

I usually want to, just don't always get that lucky.
