Gobblers

Gobblers are one of my favourite monsters. I think the creature "Stitch" from the movie Lilo and Stitch was probably based on a young gobbler (OK, probably not, but nice plot idea there).

Inspired by the idea that they might go after any top secret mostali foodstuff I wondered what other gobblers there might be other than the previously mentioned Gunpowder, Alchemical types - I hesitate to call them breeds, I suspect "model" is the correct term.

The mostali have terrible trouble with the "mortar and pestle" a process they use to create more clay mostali. I suspect that the unfortunate mostali assigned to this dreadful week long task require extra minerals and dietary supplements to keep their mortar arm strong. This tonic, possibly in pill form, has been known to be stolen by humans for some depraved unorthodox organic behaviour that they partake in for no apparent purpose. The danger to the schedule of increase human reproduction would be a clear and reasonable use for the so-called Viagra Gobbler. The disasterous end of this sort of Gobbler is hard to imagine.

Fairly dull gobblers might include Gold, Lead, Silver, Bronze, Iron, Copper, Tin, Aluminium, & Concrete gobblers. Jolanti gobblers, Falangian Diamond Gobblers, Broken Mostali Gobblers.

Some fun that might be had with disfunctional Gobblers which, for the sake of argument, could be called Dieters (or in the Nilmerg tradtion Srelbbogs). A Dieter that only eats organic (yuck), is a vegetarian (horrid) only eats whole food (it never chews)might last longer but suffer from a certain feebleness. Other Dieters might take it to far and become Bulimic, dangerous for those Gunpowder eaters. An anorexic gobbler might make a curious cameo.
