And it's been very good fun, too. Just how I like to play...

In the games I've been running, I've tended to run one "episode" (usually 1-2 sessions) per Season. Generally speaking, I;ve givne 3 HP per session, plus the 1 free one at the start. Players have tended to spend 2 HP per session bailing themselves out, leaving 2 to spend per episode.

In the most "advanced" game, we've just finished Episode 9 (of 12). Which works out as something like 20 HP having been spent per character, generally spread among lots of abilities rather than concentrating on one. All the players seem to prefer spending on "fun" new abilities than concentrating on a narrow band of specialisations.

A personal theory, based on other games, is that a few beers make us more reckless and foolhardy. Given that we're playing Heortlings, that's an ideal play aid. Maybe it should have been suggested in Thunder Rebels... :)
