Be warned, I think III is much the weakest of the series. And it's a lot more self-indulgent--Pullman the Novelist has to periodically step aside and let Pullman the Village Atheist rant for a few pages.
I mean, I'm glad I read it, but I kinda wish I'd waited for it to come out in paperback...
