Lewis. (He wouldn't just take it as a compliment and leave it at that.)

I think he felt the need to make "His Dark Materials" into the anti-Narnia, and by late in "Spyglass", he just kept beating people over the head with it.

ObHQ: Heinlein's "Glory Road" is very heroquesty, but it still sucks.
