Is that for PCs or NPCs?

I tend to leave it up to the players to claim their augments although players new to HQ will need some help.

With NPCs I have some preprepared and pick the rest on the fly with resistences from the sample list in the book.

I don't worry about the number being precisely right - it's a matter of giving the player a reasonable chance of achieving the desired result given the difficulty of the task.

Oh, and I don't bother with rolled augments except in exceptional circumstances - they're a big time waster.
