No. Some look scarier (sorry couldn't resist). But seriously, they
are walking vengence, the scream of denial resulting from crimes that
should never have happened. When all the aspects of Ernalda that are
normally worshipped (mother, wife, provider, negotiator, healer,
leader) slept like death, Babeestor Gor was what was left, all the
parts that nobody had worshipped before because until the darkness
nobody had needed to. While looking scary probably isn't their
foremost desire, it may well be in the top 5, maybe even top 3 (first
two are smiting their enemies and _being_ scary). This is another
reason that you need Storm Tribe (BF only gets a 2 page write up, but
the basics are there. Again, I'm sure in Esrolia they are a little
different, but the fundamental nature of the cult won't change much).
