These are but pettifogging excuses, unworthy of one whose beard is of the requisite length for a sage of at least two sashes (and a yellow cummerbund). If such trivial obstructions do not kowtow from the path of a vessel bearing the flag of his Most Terrible, Illustrious and Draconic Majesty, then such an affront can only reflect the inadequate sacrifices and half-hearted piety of its crew.
