whats up with the SunDomers in DP?

Is there any info on these Sun Domers? I've a player who really wants to play a Sun Dome Templar, his original concept centered around Pavis. Problem is I'd like to set my next campaign in Dragon Pass. Would it be hard to transplant this character? Would the DP Sun Domers be much different than the info already available for the Prax Sun Domers?
