It causes catastrophic changes to *your* personal place in history, insofar as *everyone* will know you were responsible for *everything* that you got disastrously wrong when visiting the Green Age. (People die? Your fault. People get old? Your fault. People recognise that they are different? Your fault. Etc. until someone puts you out of your misery)
