The thing is, if you changed history and the Empire ceased to exist you'd probably have to start a new game or carry on in a very different world. I guess it is up to the narrator what he does. The sky's the limit I guess.

I suspect if a mechanism existed whereby you could go on a heroquest and destroy a greater god then the Red Goddess would have done it already anyhoo!
