Which is fine for those of us who have KoS, but a bit unfair on those who don't. Is it still IP? (Invite for Issaries advert here)

Here's the relevant snippet:

p138
"In 1546 Sarotar, the eldest son of Saronil, died a tragic death which was later immortalised in a Kethaelan play. Sarotar loved the woman Arkilia, a merchant's daughter called the "Sad Lady" in the play. Sarotar died for her love, they say, but his daughter Marlesta the Dancer, later renounced his ways, denied her heritage, and joined the Puppeteer Troupe."

Should it help, the family tree on p48 shows Sarotar (1518-1546) as the eldest son of Saronil and Sorana "Millstone", with brother Jarolar, a year younger (later Prince of Sartar) and younger sister Onelisin. All three were older half-siblings of Tarkalor. No other children of Sarotar are mentioned.

As you say, a very nice plot hook for narrators who want in on the Sartar bloodline!
