Are we sure Aldrya is a spirit? IIRC, according to GIttHW, Aldrya is a song of the woods. My impression was, "Aldrya is a great spirit" is shorthand for "The human cosmic/religious category which most closely approximates the utterly alien entity which is Aldrya would be 'great spirit'--but it's not all that good an approximation."

Or am I off-base here?
