It's no more the case that all hunters follow Verondum than that all shamans follow Suvar (or indeed that all Orlanthi hunters follow Odayla) -- these are just suggested _sample practices_.

Many hunters will follow other practices instead of or as well as Verondum. The short-form write-up in the homeland is mainly oriented towards those following the shamanic path, but this is by no means the only route, as will become clear as and when the Darjiini are written up more fully. For the moment, yes by all means allow others to join the practice, subject to the shaman's approval, while fetishes are linked to artefacts relating to Verondum in a direct or figurative way so it could be a staff, a bow stave, a skull or a reed figurine of any of them.
