Thank you! (I did the art direction, and it's always nice to know that a cover actually worked. Of course, it wouldn't have if Stefano Gaudiano hadn't done his usual great job. BTW, the piece is what was originally a triptych, which Stefano managed to turn into a quadtych when Issaries changed the publication schedule. I think you can find the entire piece of art on <http://www.HeroQuest-rpg.com>.)

In an ideal world, it would have been HeroQuest all along. However, the trademark wasn't available back in 1999.

They're the new distribution partner.

I like the game system because it's so flexible. The skill system is so flexible that you almost always have some way of tackling a problem, or at least finding a way to help someone more capable.

I like the setting because it's both original and approachable. It's one of the few game worlds that feels organic, rather than simply created to order.

And both game and world revolve around mythology, which means they can resonate deeply with human psychology.

Welcome, and don't be afraid to smack someone if they start veering off into Gloranthan esoterica -- one of the perils of the richly detailed game world is that, well, there are so many details to show off.
