It is a shame that they have dumped the gods and goddesses et all.

The treatment of the Achaean deities in the movies have been poor. 'Jason and the Argonauts' and 'Clash of the Titans' never quite hit the nail on the head.

It would of been good to see the all the gods in their full glory. The whole cycle of myths from Eris' apple and the Judgement of Paris through to Homer's Iliad and Virgil's Aeneid would have been fantastic to see on the on the silver screen.

It would have been good inspiration for Gloranthan gaming me thinks [and better set up for the sequel 'The Odyssey']. ;-)
