Exactly. More than anything, the Whitewall campaign shows the difference between the Tarshite goals in Dragon Pass and the Dara Happan goals. That the Emperor puts his full support behind the Dara Happan goal of killing off the Final Rebel might even be behind the later willingness of some of the Lunar Tarshites to support Argrath.

In the introduction session to our current Seattle Farmers Game, we revisited the Battle of Runegate. The Bat haunts the curses and nightmares of many many Colymar and Lismelder folk. Especially since those devoured by the Bat don't rejoin the clan ancestors. Until then, I didn't fully appreciate how awesome and terrible the Bat it. My little band of Woodpeckers don't fear the Lunars (just hate them), but they do fear the Bat.

This is exactly what I'm interested in exploring. The Battle of Iceland is cool - very cool. But I think Whitewall is paradoxically more flexible - especially if we put together the briefing package John is suggesting.
