I will not put on my lawspeaker cloak ;-), but also refer you to Thunder Rebels page 19 and specifically page 20.

However, MGF, YGWV and if the narrator is game - hell lets not let canon stand in the way of a good story. Just because Thunder Rebels says that your likely to bring down divine wrath you still have the Gods involved - and they do move in mysterious ways to coin a phrase. They may have their own mysterious reasons for not bringing down the divine wrath.
