Judging from Wesley's map, the area of the Lunar Empire is (very
roughly) 150,000 square miles*. The UK has an area of 92,000 square
miles or so. So, yes it is bigger than the UK, but its smaller than,
say, France. OTOH, that's a population density of around 45/sq mile,
which wouldn't look out of place in the middle ages (although its
certainly high for the ancient world, of course).
