See, that's fine. But we don't usually have trouble finding out certain things they did. (Depending on how far back we go.)
What's missing (as was said before) is a sort of "newbie's intro" that's really just "This is common knowledge to people." Even if it is "common knowledge" only to certain regions or what have you. The HQ Voices is close but it's just a little shy of what I would want.
Anyways, at this point I'm just whining. :) Easiest for me will be getting the players together this weekend, getting some idea of what kind of game and region they want, and figuring out where I want to place this.
Once there, I can come back with some specific questions about the place/time/history I want to explore in my game.
