All well and good, but don't the Alakorings (Orlanthi folk afterall) also worship Orlanth and Ernalda and the rest of the pantheon. There are some differences, but I wouldn't think they would be almost exclusive sun-worshippers (like the Yelmalians are).

But if the material means that there was a lot of Elmal worship among the Alda-Churi (with a different name) then it's no wonder that it has been changed into Yelmalio worship under the Empire. There's precedent's for that, afterall.
