Sounds reasonable. Certainly has more utility that the common:

(my excuses if the ASCII art doesn't work for your viewer.....). I mean, the border could be about in the middle, or right near one or the other of the words, or follow some rather pathologically winding route, or.....

I think we can understand that borders shift, borders are disputed, in some cases borders are not clearly defined. But having SOME idea of where they are is still useful, and I'd rather have incomplete data than none at all.
